| In order to connect the W3100A-LF to the network, the user must set some values for it to operate. Below is the general initialization process. 1. Set GATEWAY IP address of network to GAR. 2. Set SUBNET MASK opf network to SMR 3. Set Ethernet H/W address of your device to SHAR. 4. Set IP address of your device to SIPR. 5. Execute the command 'SYS_INIT'. 6. Check if 'SYS_INIT' interrupt occurs. After completing above procedures, your device will operate in the network. By sending ping (echo request), you could check if it is normal or not. If initialization if normally processed, each channel can be used as TCP or UDP. |
